Your Role in Fighting Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing

As a real estate brokerage firm, we are required to provide training to Sales Representatives as per the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and its Regulations.  Please watch the above video to understand the role you play in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing.

As part of that compliance program, all Sales Representatives and Staff must receive initial training when they join our brokerage, ongoing training as there are changes to the FINTRAC requirements, and formal update training every two years.  

This course will serve as your initial training and cover all the requirements of you under FINTRAC (listed below).  Periodically you will receive memos and messages from the office for changes or tips and tricks for complying with FINTRAC.  Every two years we have a formal update course in office that is mandatory for all Sales Representatives and Staff to attend.
